Where are the Zaadz?

Recently I was looking through some old magazines, and was saddened when I opened the first page to see that original Zaadz advertisement that caught my attention, years ago. It inspired me, made me want to be part of something bigger than me, thus breaking away the bearier which was making feel as I had NOT been a part of something big. Even though, all the while I was. I also found my THINKARETE MANIFESTO....do any of you still have that? Do you read it? Do you apply it? Anyway, back to my point.....Although I do not come back to this page nearly as much as I initially did, I guess it just kind of lost it for me. It seems like the site had become a non-stop advertisement and not just banner ads but people just started sending all of these ads for their music and self promotion, no more an idea of unity. So much separateness. I miss the initial idea of Zaadz, I think we need to bring it back.....where is it? Where are you? What are you doing? What is going on? Oh and if your name is Gabriel, please do not respond....that was another thing....I am not looking to meet anyone on here intimate relationship wise. That was another turn off, not every woman that smiles is looking for a date....and no Gabe, you can't heal them and save them from themselves.

We're still here Gina, doing the work that Brian's vision created here.
It takes commitment to stay and not run off to other social networks,
as many have. We try to move forward, keeping the positive message alive

we still wear our Zaadz T-hirts, and we are still filled with gratitude for the team and mostly ~Bri who brought us all together.

I agree with you 100%. When I first came here a few years ago it had a totally different feel. The people here were actually interested in helping others. I set up my new account a while ago but only started to get back in “Zaadz” or now Gaia Community a week ago. I am very disappointed in what I have came back to. You almost cannot get a response from anyone without them trying to push their new book, movie, or seminar on you that is suppose to change your life.
Thanks for the magical Areté *Ladybear~ That core is still on here but has expanded into Gaia. It's a public relations world so that's why we all have the ads…to help expand all of the seeds. Go ahead and have abundance and let us know which groups you'd like to be a part of that have some of those from Zaadz. Thanks for the blog.

Since becoming Gaia, we've actually moved away from cultivating commercial activity on the site; back when Zaadz was starting, the plan was for the community to become a marketplace for conscious entrepreneurs, and a means of helping them grow their business. It was difficult walking that line between community and commerce, though, and these days the site is meant far more for those seeking connections–not clients.
If you're being solicited by people trying to sell products, please please please let me know! Unfortunately I can't do much about the advertising (Gaia is free and the site needs some income to cover costs) but anything else within my power… well, I'd be honored to help.
Also, if you're even a little bit interested, I'd love (love!) for you to come be a part of the Gaia Minute. It's something I feel is bigger than all of us put together, and your heart and energy and wisdom would be so wonderful to include.
I was doing the Gaia Minute for the first time and the effect it had on me was life changing on a personal level. Thanks Siona. I was shy about jumping in and communicating at first but used a magical formula in the three words from a triangle… one corner had affinity (love/liking), one corner had reality (what was real in that moment with another) and the third was communication. Any corner I chose to enter into a conversation brought about understanding. This worked for me to become more a part of Gaia no matter which group.
